Commercial Requirements:
Effective immediately the Airport Network will join CNN & HLN by broadcasting in HD. At this time, the SD feed on the Airport Network has been discontinued. SD spots delivered to air on the Airport Network will be up-converted to air on the Airport Network's HD feed. CNN & HLN will broadcast with both a HD & SD feed. The up or down conversion process for commercial spots delivered to air on CNN & HLN will be handled in the same manner. SD spots delivered to air on CNN & HLN will be up-converted to air on CNN & HLN's HD feed. HD spots delivered to air on CNN & HLN will be down-converted to air on the CNN & HLN's SD feed. Any HD or SD commercial spot delivered to air on CNN, HLN, or APN will maintain its original aspect ratio upon airing. HD spots airing on SD feeds will air in standard 16x9 letterbox. SD spots airing on HD feeds will air in standard 4x3 center cut.

Electronic delivery services: Standard and High Definition via DG or Extreme Reach.
Physical delivery includes both Standard and High Definition.
Tape/Video Format: House format standard 35 megabit XD Cam. SD - Standard 4x3 or Letter Box 4x3 & Digi Beta. HD - Full 16x9 1080I/59.94 & HD Beta Cam & Cam SR.
Audio Format: SD - Two Channel Mono. HD - Stereo.
HD commercials can not be received with 5.1 Surround Sound at this time.
2 Tapes per commercial covers all networks.
Tapes are held for 60 days after the run of schedule and then destroyed unless otherwise notified.
No multi reeled spots accepted.

Instruction Requirements:
Written instructions must have the following information:

Date, Network, Advertiser, Product, Flight Dates, Commercial length, Ad-ID/ISCI code, Rotation, Traffic contact name and phone number.
Copy revisions must be followed up with a phone call from the agency.
Agency must designate on written traffic instructions if the tapes are to be returned at the end of the schedule.

Billboard Requirements:
CNN, Headline News & Airport Network:

Static logo in EPS format and :05 announcer copy should be sent via email
:05 to :07 animations are accepted as either an uncompressed Quicktime movie or using the Apple ProRes 422 codec (resolution: 1920x1080). The preferred method of delivery for animations is through file transfer but an HDCam tape is also acceptable.
Animated logo should not include audio voice-over.
Animations must be received 10 business days or 2 weeks prior to air.
Billboard materials are not accepted via fax.

Deadlines and Policies:

Commercials and written instructions must be received 5 business days before start of flight.
Billboard materials must be received 10 business days or 2 weeks prior to air.
Advertising Agencies must ensure that a work order has been provided with either DG Customer Support @ (800) 324-5672 (sales@dgit.com) or Extreme Reach Support @ (877) 769-9382 ext 2 (support@extremereach.com) confirming electronic tape delivery to the CNN networks.
