Billed as the world's biggest technology fair, CeBIT -- the German acronym for "World Centre for Office, Information and Communication Technology" -- was held in Hannover, Germany, on March 13-20, 2002. The focus this year was on mobility, as well as security -- whether computer systems and the Internet can withstand attacks by hackers and potential terrorists.
